The only safe solution I found is the limited online version of Word, which I could use for free after creating a Microsoft account.
What I did find is either a pirated version or malware and in most cases, even the pirated version is infected with malware. I know it because I tried so many times, just to find out that Microsoft isn’t giving away its most powerful word-processing tool for free.
